Hi - my name is Kahli and I'm currently studying a Master of Information Technology (Library and Information Studies). This blog will serve as an area of reflection. I will be reflecting on different aspects of my studies: the work, ideas presented in class that I have a viewpoint on and other industry-related issues. It is hoped that through expressing my thoughts in a public domain that not only will there will an element of accountability but there will also be an opportunity to generate discussion around the LIS sector, the issues it faces and the direction it's heading in. The opinions expressed are my own and not those of prospective employers, current employers or members of the faculty or campus where I'm enrolled. Any information that has been sourced from elsewhere will be referenced. Some of my class based reflections may be included in assignments. Feel free to follow me on twitter (opens in a new window), comment on posts or check out my business card here...
An update...
After reading through the study guides of two of my classes, it has come to my attention that blogging our reflections is a key assessment component for this semester. Therefore, this blog will be used both in conjunction with my studies as well as operating as a personal forum for general LIS discussion.
